Living In The High Rise.

Well, we are moved in. You can imagine why this update has taken so long. It has been a good time, but we are glad it has been done. We truly love where we live, and are overwhelmed at times with the things to do, places to eat, and places to shop, even for our groceries! The coolest thing is this Bloom supermarket, where they give you this little scanner, and as you put items in your cart, you scan them. It keeps track of all you are buying, including a running total with tax, and when you are finished, you hand the scanner to the register attendant, pay, and they bag your groceries. That's it! It was very cool, and easy to use. Just very cool stuff everywhere we look. Our apartment is nice, and almost as big as our house. (We really need to thanks everyone who helped us move, including Shawn and Nora, Jim Fussell, Joe and Pearl, Ryan, and Kevin and Vicki. We GREATLY appreciated your help and fellowship! Saturday night we got to hang out with Shawn and Nora, where we went to Buca Di Beppo, and Concord Mills! (For those who don't know what a Buca Di Beppo is, it is genuine Italian, served family-style. It is alot of food, and really cheap!) Thanks to all for the help!) We are so excited to be here in Charlotte, and to see what God has for us here. I am meeting with Thor Colberg, the pastor of the Vineyard we will be working with, on Tuesday, and we will be putting together a game plan for the new Bean'ry here. Other than that, things are well. April had a bout with kidney stones just before we moved, and even as we moved, but it has since settled down as she was able to pass the stone. She is tired from the school year, and is glad it is almost over. She has one more week, and has been commuting from here in Charlotte the hour or so into Thomasville. She is getting up at 5:15, and I know that's getting old.

We have made plans for several of you to come up and stay, and are awaiting our queen size bed for our guest room, but can't wait. It will be great to get to hang out with you here, and show you the sights of Charlotte. Anyway, I guess that's all for now, I will post more pictures when I find the camera! :-)
